Painter
Painting and drawing have been part of my life since childhood.
I remember being at school, looking at an object in front of me and wanting to draw it. I started mainly in black and white, fascinated by shapes, details, light and shadows. Over time, I began exploring other subjects, including landscapes.

I have always loved beautiful handwriting as well. My teachers used to tell me that my handwriting was different from that of my classmates. I think I inherited this from my father, who had beautiful handwriting.
That eventually brought me closer to Persian calligraphy.

Persian writing has always fascinated me because the words themselves can become a form of art. I began creating calligraphic works inspired by Persian poetry and poets such as Rumi, Hafez and Saadi.

Painting gives me a very different kind of freedom. There is no runway, no camera and no audience in front of me.
It is simply a moment between me and what I am creating.
